| acuratl's Full Review: Sony Walkman MZ-R55 Personal MiniDisc Player |
I never believed in Minidisc format until I bought one. I love how I can put the whole player in my pocket on my walks and/or during exercising and listening to digital sound. It is VERY compact and the unit is built very well.
The functions are very easy to use. When it is in your pocket, you can control most of the functions with the remote clip that could be clipped on anywhere you like.
The sound is amazing, and Sony's famous Mega Bass did its job. It comes with decent headphones but the mega bass and digital sound make it sound like a nice home system.
The recording function is very easy, it even has an option to synchronize so the play will start recording once it receives digigal singal. You can name song titles and disc title. You can move songs around in order if you like, again, it is very easy.
The battery last about 2 hours, but the battery would not charge if you are using the unit.
If you do not have a car CD/MD player, you can buy a cigarette lighter adapter for power and tape adapter for car use.
I am really glad that I bought this MD player/recorder.
