Pros: Great sound,Small sleek,Titling,Great look. Easy to change tracks everything is good.Very cool remote.
Cons: Battery Life suxs!! :-(
The Bottom Line: The sound is pending with different cables and stuff.When you get this thing going its hot.I used to like CDs and all but its all Minidiscs for me!!

Well considering that I just got my Xitel DG2 converter for it a couple of days ago.I was waiting so long to record on my MZ-R55 and it was worth the wait.The sound is great.Its easy to record.Though maybe my opinion will change after a few month with this.Erasing and Titling is easy though titling takes very long.The buttons are small but you can fit the thing in your pocket why would you want large buttons that if you laid down would change the track everytime?
Its a really cool player but beware when recording the battery life sucks.With two alkaline batteries its terrible.Get a rechargable,like i'll be getting soon.
All in all this player is cool. Its great cuz u can record and play and its fun.YES U CAN RECORD MP3S ON THIS THING :-)
and with a mic you can record shows and your voice.I don't know how well the mic works with concerts yet tho
Minidiscs only cost a little and their very easy to deal with.
