| duncan222444's Full Review: Rio PMP-500 (64 MB) MP3 Player |
When i was looking for a mp3 player the rio 500 caught my attention. The first reason i chose it was because it was very small and was the best one that you could buy at the time. The player starts with 64 megs of memory and is upgradable to 128 but you have to buy a smartmedia card which will run you around 200 bucks. The price is not cheap at all, when i bought it it was about 500 bucks so you wouldn't be buying this for the cheap price. The player will hold about 14 songs but if you have 128 you can get about 28 or 29 songs on it. The sound is great because you are listening to digital music or sound. The player comes with headphones and a case(more like a pouch) to carry it in. The software that is included is very easy to use and you should get napster or some sort of file sharing system to get your songs from. On the plus side you will never have to buy cd's again so once you download about 50 or 60 songs you have allready started to pay the price off which is really good. The player never skips and has no moving parts which means it will last longer, it is very tough and can take quite a beating. so if you are looking for a really good mp3 player than look no further because the rio 500 should satisfy all your needs...
