I purchased a Rio 300 and It was a good player. Than I realized that this is not the best technology that is out there so I purchased the Rio 500. It is a great improvement over the Rio 300 and most of all a great overall player. The Rio 500 features a LCD screen which shows the title and artist of the song. It has twice as much memory with 64 mb built in which can get you about 25 songs plus a memory card slot that you can expand your memory to 96 or 128 mb of storage. Which can get you around 55 songs. The memory cards are around 100 - 125 dollars or for less money you can buy a memory card with lower memory of 8 or 16 mb that you can only fit abot 5 songs on it. The sound quality of the rio leaves competetors in the dust. The rio now comes in three colors teal, purple and silver all three are very stylish. I myself have a teal rio. I recomend this player to anyone who is looking for an afordable great quality mp3 palyer that is easy to use. It is smaller than a cd player and an am/fm walkman!!
