if you Listen to music, enjoy listening to mp3's, you NEED this Gizmo. This is an Amazing piece of electronic equipment, no moving parts means no skipping (no need for skip prevention like on portable cd players). I personally use this product the most when I am vaccuuming just like in the commercial, or when I am driving. buying a cheap 10-15 dollar line-out to cassette can easily allow you to connect your Rio to almost any car stereo (has to have a tape player of course).
The Quality of the music is magnificent, you can scan to any song, program in your favorite songs. I Especially enjoy the 1 hour 64 meg card that is built into the rio, with the option of adding an additional 32 meg card for another half hour of music. Older Rio's and other MP3 players only have a half hour of space, this is Not enough trust me...
a few nifty things about the rio, the Backlit screen, the handy volume control that functions like a click-wheel mouse. This volume control doubles as a song selector, also like moving up and down the screen with a mouse wheel. a single double A (AA) battery is enough to keep this baby running for an average of 8-10 hours.
Thats all I can say about the Rio, if you are a Runner I would see a definite need for this product over say a Tape player, or Walkman. the Software that comes with the rio is down right simple, and you will not have a problem selecting from the hundreds of mp3's you have, or from cd's you have, to copy to your rio... Have fun keep Rio-ing along.
Thats my two bits.
