| lisamart's Full Review: RCA Lyra RD2204 (64 MB) MP3 Player |
Well, I am the queen of gadgets. I am always looking for the latest in high tech fun. So, imagine my surprise when Christmas morning I unwrapped an RCA LYRA. A small walk man type device that I had never heard of before. My family was ecstatic that they were able to beat me to the punch and buy me a cool gadget before I saw it and bought it for myself. I started with the instruction book which I hate to do, and it seemed a bit overwhelming. All the lingo on how to connect and down load and transfer... I wasn't sure I'd be able to figure this one out. Later when i sat down at the computer, the connections were logical and well laid out. I had no difficulty making the connections. I used my search engine to locate free MP3 downloads. Talk about cool! I was listening to my own selections within a half hour of the original attempt to set up. The menus make the whole process user friendly. I love this product. I used the car adapter to play it on the way to work this morning. No skipping, no changing disks or tapes. I also enjoyed down loading some bands I have never heard of before and sampling music I would otherwise not be exposed too! Great fun.
