I have ATT cable which was TCI. Yes there are a lot of channels now especially with the digital. My only wish is for a better package where
you can pick all the channels that you want. WE only watch a few channels Nick, weather, cartoon network, USA, CNN, CNBC and our local channels and a few Discovery. That is all and yet I am paying 50 bucks a month for this. YIKES! I don't want all of those other channels just the ones that interest my family the most.
If it were up to me I would not have cable but where I live to get local channels, well lets just say I would not get them in a clear picture.
ATT does have certain packages but I dont' need all those pay channels HBO, TMC etc. I just recently called to see if there was a way to make my bill lower and they said I had to get a Encore package and it would lower it a few dollars. I was suckered I took the deal just to save a few bucks.
The only thing I can hope for is that eventually there will be more cable companies and we will have choices. Just like our phone and the rest of the utilities.
