Pros: Adelphia offers more channels and better picture quality in the Cleveland Ohio viewing area
Cons: The service is pretty expensive especially the bundled digital cable and cable modem service
The Bottom Line: In spite of bankruptcy, Adelphia is hanging in there and can provide a good product

Adelphia Powerlink Service has proved to be excellent in this viewing area. Previously, ATT had been our cable tv provider, but they did not offer cable modem service. Adelphia offers a number of nice packages. For those who care about such matters, there are no porno preview offerings or sound tracks to offend the channel surfer. They also provided OLN which had great coverage to this year's Tour de France. Many of my friends use it and are quite pleased. One does pay a pretty hefty price for this service, but given the lack of competition in the grater Cleveland viewing area, this is no surprise. We have the allied cable model service which provides very fast, but sometimes erratic connectivity. As an Apple Macintosh user, I am dismayed that they have such a Windows-centric attitude. They have very few, if any, customer support people who know anything about Macs, especially those running OS X.
