Pros: None I can think of right now.
Cons: false representation on prices, little choice of channels so little choice for good shows.

I just moved from Houston Texas (where I had no need for cable since I had pretty much all the channels I really needed) to Maine a few months ago and had to take cable since the owner of my apartment complex did not agree to my getting a sattelite dish.
Of course the only cable company available for my complex was Adelphia so before I decided to subscribe, I called Adelphia and requested to get a list of channels that are available on Adelphia. As requested i received this note by mail and found that there was a few choices I could get. The two principals being the Basic (twelve channels) which according to the note came up to 6.95$ a month, the family choice which came up to around 30.00$.
I decided to call and get the basic (twelve channels) and asked if I could get the HBO combo with this. I was told that I would have to get the whole family choice (30.00$) if I wanted the HBO combo. I chose to have only the basic channels then and forgot about HBO!!
I then had an appointment made for them to hook me up and then she came up with more!!! She notified me that the price for the basic channel had just gone up to 10.95$ a month instead of 6.95$.
Added to all this, I had the WB channel in Houston which had good science fiction (Charmed, Roswell, etc) and I was very sad to find out that this channel is NOT available on the Adelphia line-up!!!
As well, if you like very old shows, this is for you!!! In the morning, I can watch "Bewitched"and "I dream of Jeany" for two full hours on two differents channels but, Who in the world would want to do that?????????
I have to say I look forward to moving again to an apartment complex that will allow a satellite dish so I can get better choice at better prices and without the false representation!!!
