Hi, I wanted to take a minute to tell you that there is a place you can send complaints about the poor services of Adelphia Cable. First, you should write to Adelphia and try to see if anything comes up from it (Keep the dates and copies from the documents you send them).
If nothing comes up from your complaints (and I kind of think nothing will judging from my experience!), you can send a complaint to their franchising authority which should be named in the back of your bill. If by any means their franchising authority is not named in the back of your bill, you need to call Adelphia and ask them about it. THEY are obligated by law to give you this information if you request it!!!
This is where you will send complaints about the Adelphia services. When I called, they gave me the number for the:
Cable services bureau
445 12th st. S.W. Room 3-C830
Washington. D.C.
20554
This latter one is affiliated in some way with the FCC which regulates the cable services. Another good place if you want more info is the FCC (Federal communication) homepage. You should find it by making a search with " FCC".
Good luck to Y'ALL and remember the more complaints or comments they receive, the better the chance that they will ask Adelphia to Better their services!!
