Comcast has had a strangle hold on me for so long I don't care to think about it. I tried Direct TV but it just didnt work out for me having television sets all over the house plus I couldn't get my local sports channel for the pro teams in Philly since Comcast has all the rights to their broadcasts. It was brutal living with Comcast's horrendous service and their ever increasing rates.
One day a wonderful thing happened. Verizon started trenching in my neigborhood and now I have FIOS for my internet (BLAZING SPEED), my phone (no problems there) and my TVs. The High Def pic has never been as crisp as it is now and my LCD sets are clearer than before. I have as many if not more channels to choose from now and when you need to call Verizon customer service for anything they acutually ANSWER THE PHONE before your next birthday!
Online you can instant message back and forth with their technical people and they can plug right into your pc if need be, take over your mouse and change settings or check out the deep deep dark parts of your computer I don't dare go into.
So far Verizon gets an A in product performance as well as cutomer service.
I really enjoyed returning my Comcast stuff to their office. And, as usual, the girl who took back my box and modem was rude an showed no interest or concern as to why I was retiring from her company.
Did I mention I am saving $50.00 per month?!
