My husband and I are currently on a plan for 129.99 per month. It includes cable internet, home phone with unlimited local/long distance(free calls to Canada and Puerto Rico also), and digital cable with HBO and Stars free. We get access to ON DEMAND. We have two box's and regular cable in every other room. In Arkansas we don't have many other options aside from a service like Direct TV. Comcast has been great to us. Everytime there has been a problem they have went out of their way to get someone out as quick as possible. We have only ever had one weather related interruption and that was when a tree limb fell on our cable outside (Our cable line is not below ground like some). They are constantly running promotions for new services and all you have to do is call and exchange one for the other without charge. We actually trade out what movie channels we are getting free very often. I know that the company has had many layoffs as a result of the slow economy but that has not impacted there great customer service at all. Any time I have had a question regarding my bill they explain in detail exactly what is going on and they are the first to admit when they have made a mistake. Every friend we have ever had that has worked for Comcast has really loved their job. There is also a rumor that they will merge with Verizon at some point. Only time will tell.
