Pros: HaHaHaHaHaHa! None!
Cons: Monopoly, Overpriced, Underserviced, Horrid Customer Service
The Bottom Line: Cox Communications is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Customer Service is horrible. Services are decent, but take forever to get hooked up.

Introduction
For your sake, reading this, I hope you have another option besides Cox Communications. Someone has to be the bottom of the line provider, and unfortunately these simpletons are the only ones that offer service to my area.
Pricing
Who ever heard of paying $40 a month for basic cable? Not I, not until I found out my only choice for a cable provider was the devil company in review.
Their phone service is reasonable for a working phone at about $20.00 a month. But it doesn't work.
Service
We ordered Cable on August 17th. We had Cable hooked up by September 1st, after being told that it would be hooked up the following day. Phone calls just got the run-around and promises that someone was on their way.
My phone line was not hooked up for a month and a half after ordering it. Again the promise said that it should be working by 6:00 in the evening on the day that I ordered it. After many furious phone calls, I have received a reimbursement of $20. But still it doesn't work right, I have given up trying to get them to fix it, because they are such a horrible company, no one will ever be sent out. My telephone does not receive incoming calls. I have had to resort to giving out my Cell phone number, which is a long distance call for most of the people that call me from the area I am now living in. My telephone will only call out if I have it set on pulse dial.
One thing Cox Communications is good at, is making promises. Promises come easy to everyone that works for Cox communications:
"Someone will be there tomorrow."
"We'll hook it up tomorrow."
"Your account has been credited."
"We will provide some form of reimbursement."
Yet, Cox Communications does not realize that a promise should be backed up by an action. Or maybe they decided that four promises require one course of action.
Getting to talk to someone is only done so with ridiculous difficulty. Their understaffed tech-lines will keep you on hold for 20 minutes(on your cell phone!), and although you'll think you get through to the person on the other end, they don't update your account, or they don't put a service bulletin on your phone line, and you have to call again the next day(on your cell phone!).
Conclusion
Cox Communications is the devil. If you have any other option at all, please avoid this company. You will receive nothing but heartache from them.
