Mediacom is the worst cable company I have ever delt with.

First, if you ever need help with anything be prepared to wait on hold for at least 30 minutes, usually an hour.
Second, the employees that come to your house are rude and often get upset if you mention the poor picture and say there is nothing they can do about it.
Third, the employees are ignorant. For example, I called Mediacom to cancel my service before my move and asked for my service to be cancelled and to pay the remaining amount on my account. He told me what I owed and I gave me my debit card information for him to take it out of my account. He took an amount out of my account, but apparently he didn't take the right amount out because bills were being sent to my parents address 200 miles away and I didn't even know about it. I thought everything was taken care of and had no reason to believe otherwise until I was tracked down by a bill collector which ruined my credit. The kicker is that the bill was only $11.
I will never have any service through them again. I would rather have dial-up internet and a dish.
