To date I have used 3 different cable/Internet providers. I will spare you my nightmare U-verse story and I will stick with Time Warner.

I think there is great value factor in TWC. I have a great package including a DVR, Cable to 3 TVs, and high speed Internet. I am getting this package for less than what I got the most basic U-verse package with one TV for.

The service has been great so far. They came out to install my package 2 days after I called. The service rep showed up on time and was very polite. He set up everything and gave me a brief but very functional instruction on how to use everything. I have not had any issues (technical or service) to date and I am going on 4 months now. They have a breadth of service offerings to fit anyone's needs. Since it is cable you will not lose service during rain/ wind/ snow (the times you need it most!) like you do with a dish service.

On the other hand there are a couple of down sides. The on screen menus are not the best. Navagation is a little more difficult and less intuitive than some of the competitors and I hate the controllers that were supplied with the package.

I guess its time to pick up a nice universal remote.

I do like this package and have no thoughts of switching any time soon. I recommend TWC to all my friends (esp. those on U-verse)
