A great city--lousy cable

Pros: You don't have a choice in NYC.

Cons: You could read a book in instead.

Time Warner is basically the only choice most people in Manhattan have. They appear to be trying to update the services they provide, but they are still deficient.

It doesn't make sense that a cable provider with a virtual monopoly should also control the content when they make competing programs. As a result, we're stuck with whatever Time Warner wants us to see. I.E. They keep out channels that compete with their lame channels. For example, where are FX and MTV 2? What about tons of other channels that people in the greatest city in the world can't see?

Time Warner costs too much and their service blows. But I've got no choice, so they don't care what I think.
