| techguy137's Full Review: Samsung CXJ1352 13 inch TV/VCR Combo TV |
I received this TV/VCR combo from a friend as he left the job I currently have. I guess he knew I would be watching a lot of TV to occupy the time. My Samsung has been in constant use and it has quite a few features more than I suspected. I can tell you that it was pretty easy to figure out with no manual or instructions so that was nice. The remote is made of quality sturdy materials and that is good since that's the only part you really ever touch. I connected my DVD player to it and the whole assembly takes up very little room. Note that the RCA audio (mono) and video inputs are on the front of the TV so you need to set your DVD player to mono-mix audio output then run one line from your audio out on the DVD player to the TV, but you can't expect a Dolby Digital Surround experience from a 13" TV. So, on that note, it is a little untidy with the wires attached to the front of the TV, but I suppose the ports on the front of the TV are far more beneficial to game players for easy access. There is also a headphone jack on the front and that is quite handy too. The only thing I am wary about with this unit it is that I suspect the VCR element will die first and then I'll have a three legged dog so-to-speak. However, for the money, I don't think you can go wrong.
