So anyone that has read my husbands reviews , Goldentoe . Knows that we have what we refer to as the Feline Horde.  Five cats that we call our fur babies.  Two of our cats are long haired cats.  We need to vacuum ALOT!  That being said, when our vacuum died we needed a new one, fast.  

Being that I am the Home Department manager at a local department store I went to work and started looking at our vacuums.  Our personal experience with bagless vacuums and multiple cats is that they get clogged and become a pain to clean out!  So looking at work I was leaning towards a bagged vacuum.   

After talking to one of my associates she convinced me to try the Eureka AirSpeed Bagless Vacuum.  When I got it home we got to putting together.  I have read a few reviews that say that it was hard to put together, I did not find this.  The parts snapped together ver nice and easy.

Lets break down the vacuum.

The company claims that it is better than a Dyson.  Having never used a Dyson I have no idea about this part.
It is a sharp looking vacuum...I mean come on it is Iowa Hawkeyes colors ;) Black and Gold 
The canister pops out with just a simple push of a button and goes back on fast and simple
Emptying the canister is as easy as holding over the garbage can and pressing a button and all the yuck falls out the bottom. 
The on/off switch is a pedal on the side and you tap it with your foot.  Very easy on and off
After putting the vacuum together I went to work cleaning the house.  
As I turned the vacuum on I was surprised that It almost seems to jump to life and vacuum on its own!  It felt almost self propelled.  It was so easy to push around the house and all our furniture.  

As expected we had to empty the canister a lot as it kept pulling up cat hair.  What really impressed me was that after i would vacuum an area, I would go back over it and it kept pulling more up from the carpet.  

It seemed like it kept going deeper and deeper to pull out dust, dirt and cat fur.  On the sides of the vacuum I noticed tiny brushes, as i vacuumed by the wall it brushed into where the baseboards met the carpet and for the cat hair out of there and vacuumed it up.  

The extra long cord made vacuuming so fast as I did not have to keep  plugging and unplugging it.

The hose is also very long so it makes getting those cob webs out of corners so easy and the crevice works like a charm getting in to nooks and crannies!

This vacuum pulls up so much every time we use it that it really impressed me!  And the vacuum has not clogged with pet hair like a lot of other bagless vacuums have one us

My only issues with the machine is that the tools do not stay on very well so it will be so easy to lose one or two and it is very bulky.  It moves around nice and smooth while cleaning but it is large so if you live in a small apartment or house it will take up a lot of room.  And truth be told the parts on it appear cheap plastic.  The handle was very flimsy when we pulled it out of the box.  The filter can be rinsed and cleaned off.  Just rinse off and let it dry.  It does need to be cleaned a lot, but that is just because it cleans up so much dirt.  But I would rather wash the dirt down the drain than have it in my carpet!
