CSS™ Industries, Inc.,  The Paper Magic Group™ INC., Eureka™ School Days Computer Printer Paper is another of those clever  50 sheet packets of 8 x 10 inch  paper created by this publisher for use in printing machine and  copy machine, or, for hand writing letters and notes.

I like the excellence of the paper used to create this school themed writing sheet.  Raw materials are carefully selected to create first-rate quality, acid free, paper formulated to industry and governmental safety standards, and is printed in child pleasing, eye catching vibrant shades using harmless, flamboyantly colored inks to be an especially notable bordered page for Osage County First Grade usage.  Whether we are writing to –Our- military man, local merchants thanking them for goodies, or to older students who have made a success of their ball game, spelling bee, honor roll or whatever it is that deserves recognition or to parents, we LIKE attention grabbing designs.

And,  this is an especially practical, eye catching packet of printed paper bearing a bright border in swaths of purple, chartreuse, lemon yellow, faded teal green, magenta and pale turquoise offset with bright red apples in lower left corner, and a clutch of pink, green, and chartreuse books in the right.  Striking computer printer paper having interesting, child friendly borders or other images are the papers Osage County First Grade uses for letter writing.  I like that Little Scribes can easily prepare their letters, and that I can write notes without fear of bleed through or other problems.

One element of Oklahoma State teaching standards and or Common Core Language Arts First Grade standards regarding classroom instruction includes letter writing.  I find preparing real letters to actual persons, known as in the case of peers, parents or –our serviceman- or to unknown, as in the group who yearly sends us school materials for us to use, as well as the merchant and the like to whom we write thank you letters for cooky cards, mints and the like; real letters to real people seems to work better for Osage County First Grade than does writing so called practice letters to a non entity. 

The mid portion of the page is unlined, white and appropriate for Little Scribes usage.  For those Little Scribes who do have some problem trying to keep letters on an even keel, a faint pencil line is added by the Penman and is used for setting down the words of the letter as we write.


 I can see use for this paper at home, home office, or commercial office for creating flyers, bulletins and the like regarding  educational seminars, book fairs and the like.

NOTE:  I find materials from this publisher widely available from a diversity of online sites as well as being found on shelves of walk in brick and mortar type shops catering to the classroom teacher and home school use.

 Price varies by when and where the product is purchased; I like to haunt summer sales as products are being moved to make room for newer items.
