| IlBruche's Full Review: Kalamazoo Brewing Company |
What would summer be without a trip to the Bells brewery? What could possibly be better than sitting in the outdoor beer garden sipping on the summers first batch of Oberon? I can't think of many beer related activities that can surpass the pleasure of being surrounded by Bells beer. The Kalamazoo Brewing Company makes a wide variety of beers and they make all of them well. From the cult following surrounding it's popular Hefe-Weizen Oberon, to the sinful Cherry Stout Bells has all the bases covered. The Porter is great, the Amber is great, great, great, great! the only bad thing about drinking outside at the brewery is the fact you have to use plastic cups. That and the annoyance of outdoor things like bugs are easy to ignore when good brews are at hand. The inside is a simple wooden interior, it reminds me of a cabin in colorado. Beer prices are posted on a large chalkboard behind the bar. A nice place with nice people and great beer.
