Pros: Tons of free beer.

Cons: Don't bother if you aren't 21.

This brewery offered an excellent tour. They have fun videos that show the owner, Koch, and the tour guides are very humourous. You get to try see hops. You learn the history of the Boston Beer Company, but a great deal about how to make beer. You see how it is stored. They explain how they test new beers, flavors they are thinking of, and how they market. Who knew that Sam Adams made a hard cider? Now I do.
The tour culminated with beer tasting. You get three glasses of different kinds of beers, and then their special product, Triple Boch. Wow. You are allowed to keep the glass, too. Some people were pretty buzzed when they left, so you might want to go for a walk before hopping in your car.
This is a fun thing to do if you have a quiet afternoon, and are at least 21.
