| ssegel's Full Review: A Raffanelli Zinfandel Dry Creek Valley 1997 |
I like this zin alot and thought that it went beautifully with grilled lamb chops. The wine really complemented the lamb chops which were grilled with a Moroccan paste and served with coscous and mushrooms. I'd definitely buy it again and would surely recommend it to my fellow lovers of zinfandel. Moreover, my company enjoyed this wine as well. In fact, we killed off four bottles that night and probably would have drank even more but unfortunately we ran out! The wine was really top notch and had a real complex taste at the back of the palate and left a pleasant fruit punch on the front of the palate.
