| tkerodd's Full Review: Boone's Farm Wine |
Boone's Farm wines are not for the serious wine taster. The person who enjoys a glass of wine with caviar or truffles need not read this review. This is the wine for working people, college students, and anyone else who wants a nice tasty buzz for about four bucks.
These wines are really pretty good. I remember drinking Strawberry Hill back in college, but their offerings since then are very fruity, and are pretty good drinking wines. You have several choices, including strawberry, peach, and a medley-style wine. They all have a strong taste of the fruit, and a sweetness that is very pleasant.
This wine is perfect for many occasions, such as family reunions, fraternity parties, and any other occasion where there will be a lot of drinking that you don't want to pay for! This stuff is cheap, and gives the drinker a very happy sensation - whatever occasions that goes with are perfect for Boone's Farm wines.
These wines are not great with food. I have found that the fruity/sweet taste tends to clash with most meals. This is more suited for some salty snacks at a party.
