I first tried the Hess Collection Chardonnay when a friend brought it over for dinner. By far this is one of the best chardonnay I have ever had. Its got that gentle smooth grapy flavor, semi-sweet and again, extremely smooth, its got absolutely no tartness or sour feel to it.

I have tried several Chardonnays but this one is different. Its got a mild yet intense flavor. If you are into smooth, slightly sweet white wines, Hess is the best. Its worth every penny of the 18 bucks it costs. Makes a great date / dinner party gift. Tastes best with hot/spicy food.

I would love to check out the Hess Reserve..which costs 8 bucks, but I was told by the vendor that this one is far better. So I went for it..and hey its a great choice. So try it.
