Nice dinner wine.

Pros:Inexpensive, easy on the palate red wine.
Cons:Young and a bit thin tasting, needing a year or two in the cellar.
The Bottom Line: By this wine for a nice evening at home with your wife/husband. It delivers good taste for low dollars and is not overly complex.
This nice inexpensive wine was one of the first Australian wines that I purchased. I find this young wine to be very nice and easy to drink with a warm meal. It is rich and flavorful, with ripe fruity tastes and some oak characteristics that show themselves during the medium to short finish.
I would recommend this wine with most any meal that you would normally consume a full bodied red wine with. My fiance and I enjoy it for its low cost and up-front taste.
It shows some of its youth, though, in its simple finish and lack of depth that I would normally expect from such a wine. Keeping a few of these in the cellar for a year or two would certainly make them better than they already are.
Cheers!
