Febreze Noticeables Dual Warmer – A Breath of Fresh Air!
Written: Jul 20, 2012

Pros:Constant, easy-on-the-nose flow of alternating scents.
Cons:The price of refills can be daunting when you have several warmers.
The Bottom Line: Odors are a part of living indoors. Febreze Noticeables Dual Scented Oils Warmer makes them go away. It's that simple.
One of the problems we all share is that odor in the kitchen or one of the bathrooms that you can’t quite trace. It always seems to be pungent just before guests are due. Spraying is problematic, especially in the kitchen. Even when there is no danger of food contamination, the sudden, strong floral or pine scent can send you searching for your inhaler. The usual natural means – lemons, cinnamon, scented candles, potpourri, etc. – are no match for the odor of frying fish or Brasso metal polish.
It was after an afternoon of polishing our Chanukiah collection with Brasso that I decided to solve this problem, once and for all. I liked the TV ads for Febreze Noticeables but had a tendency to forget about them when I got to the supermarket. This time, there was an enormous display in the middle of the aisle to jog my memory. The scents were Christmas-themed, so it took a while to find something that also fit in a post-Chanukah kitchen. Spiced apple, cranberry, and vanilla scents soon appeared once I started rummaging through the display. Because the warmers came in a pack of two, I found myself buying a scent for our master bathroom, too. Getting started cost about $10 because the warmer pack was free with a scent duo purchase.
What’s the difference between Febreze Noticeables Dual Warmer and any other plug-in air freshener? Typical warmers give you one scent at one distribution strength. The dual warmer uses paired oils and has a high or low setting. Each dual scent costs between $5 and $6 or a pack of two of the same pairs costs about $10 and they last about a month with the warmer set on high.
I couldn’t wait to kill the odor of Brasso before our kids came to see our apartment for the first time. Within seconds, my kitchen smelled like apple cider, and a while later, the air was laced with cinnamon. What a breath of fresh air (in more ways than one)!
It didn’t take long before I decided to buy a warmer for our second bathroom, too. The Christmas-themed scents were sold out by the time I was ready for refills, but I found others that are just as pleasing – Thai Dragonfruit (spicy scent, best in the kitchen), Aloha Sunset (Hawaiian florals, perfect for a guest bathroom), Rain Forest (another clean, bathroom scent), and New Zealand (compatible with any room).
I admit that the upkeep on the system in three locations is pricier than a can of Glade, but having your home always smell “company ready” without constant effort is well worth $15-18 a month (without coupons). The warmers are reliable, and isn’t hot to the touch. Although we don’t have pets anymore, I would feel secure using Febreze Noticeables Dual Warmer around pets. With small children, I suggest using counter-height outlets to ensure that they’re out of reach.
