Pros: Not many other then the GM rebate.
Cons: Managed poorly by Household Bank. Posts your payments slowly.
The Bottom Line: Stay away unless you are perfect and can always send payment well in advance of the due date.

Overall this was my worst experience with a credit card. I never even received my rebate. I had the card for about 3 years.
My first incident involved unauthorized charges on my card. After the first I contacted GM about a mystery charge. They has no information about the vendor other then the name and state. There was no company in that state with that name. For the next two months the charge kept showing up. I think it was $25 or so for a total of around $75. I refused to pay for the amounts and GM kept charging interest on it. A fourth time the charge showed up again. This time I had the card canceled and a new one issued. GM ended up reversing the charges but would never reverse the interest.
My second experience was with Household bank posting my payments late. This would happen every couple of months or so. GM would always claim I paid late and sock me with a late fee. Finally I started sending the payments by Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. I tracked when they received the payment and when it got posted. I did this for two months and each month Household Bank posted the payment 5-7 days after receipt. Both times GM claimed I sent the payment late and charged a late fee. I faxed them the confirmations and they had no choice but to admit fault and reverse the late fees.
It was not long after this last mess that my card came up for renewal. GM did not renew my card and I lost all reward points. The reason given was I had too many problems with my account. While some may have been my fault, the two above were not. I didn't fight it too hard and got a different credit card and I have not purchased a GM car or truck since.
Overall a poor card unless you always pay the balance each month and pay well in advance of the due date. Oh, also hope you never get unauthorized charges on the card.
