I've been a long time customer with Discover, first on a joint account with my parents for over 10years then 5 years on my own. I have never really had any bad experiences until now.made a purchase on Amazon and disputed a charge the customer service I received was comparable to that of Capital One (their customer service is one of the worst) I was particularly shocked at the insensitive representatives at their Utah facility. They were very cold and indifferent. It's a shame because I used to always recommend Discover card to everyone, especially because of their wonderful service, but not anymore. They treated me like I was lying and once I faxed over my obvious proof their FAX numbers (both) weren't working.luckily I was able to upload them on their site.it's a shame I didn't talk to a supervisor because this isn't the way to treat loyal customers. The whole group of representatives and billing associates should be re-trained on how to speak to and resolve customer issues. I'm very disappointed and will be sharing this horrid experience with others without hesitation so that they'll know the truth.They used to be the best in the business ...sad to say I can't and won't recommend them to anyone. My husband was right there isn't anything special about Discover and I used to think he was wrong. Oh by the way I had originally faxed over everything once before but because of their laziness /incompetent staff I had to resend everything. (Cheryl or Sharon, I can't recall her name) out in Utah told me I have to resend everything because the seller was (lying) saying I didn't send the product back.
