I've tried out several credit cards and found a keeper in the Fleet Edvance Platinum Credit Card. We keep only 1 major credit card for larger purchases or emergencies. When I came across this one, I thought we'd give it a try. For every $1 you spend, you get 1 point. Once you spend accumulate 2500 points (read: spend $2500), They send you a $50 savings bond. As I said before, we don't use our card often, but wanted to reap these benefits, so we cancelled out gasoline card and now purchase all gasoline with this card and pay the balance each month. They also have a low fixed rate of 9.99% which can't be beat. Your rate will rise if you are late with payments.
If you do use a credit card regularly, this one is great. Our savings bonds will help with college costs down the road.
The company is also easy to deal with, helpful, and friendly.
