Pros: doesn't take long to get your first free ticket, low intro apr., decent credit limit.
Cons: overkill on security. airplanes have the look and smell inside of an old bus.
The Bottom Line: great intro apr. doest take long to earn first free ticket.

| azgldnfire's Full Review: America West Flight Fund Visa (Bank of America) |
I got a mailer not that long ago from B of A for the America West Platinum card offer. It was very low intro apr. rate with a low fixed rate after that. The Card also offered a very low balance transfer rate. I took advantage of the offer and signed up online. It took about 1 minute to complete the application and get approved. I used the balance transfer option, but got a call one day later from B of A security to verify I had actually authorized the transfer. Not really a problem. I have also used the card for an America West flight from phoenix to LA and got proper credit for the miles as well. The credit limit on the card was pretty good and B of A customer service has been excellent. I think the only complaint I have is with the airline itself. The planes are kinda of shabby inside and well worn, reminded me of a smelly greyhound bus. (They are not my most favorite of airline). However, I do have to say checking in was pretty easy and the lines a great deal less then southwest (their main competitor in my area). Overall, my B of A card is one of my least expensive cards interests wise, however, the annual fee is a little high. I think it was $70.00 But considering that I always carry a good size balance and after only one flight I am only 1500 miles away from a free ticket to LA from phoenix. Not too bad at all I think.
