I have been using Diners Club for a couple of years and have been very pleased with the card and services. One of the most unique features of the card is the lack of phone menus on calls to support. This is truly refreshing. One call and I am speaking to a real person who, for the most part, seems to be well trained.
I have had one problem with the card. Their support team went way above and beyond. They deal with my unique situation with extraordinary flexibility and customer care.
I have used the small business plan and the personal plan. The small business plan is unique in that the business owner get the mileage reward for all the people in the company using the card. HOWEVER, the rewards on this program are significantly limited. They do not cover most travel rewards.
The personal card, however, is extremely flexible. I am able to easily move rewards into just about any other airline or hotel program. the reward exchange rate is pretty typical. I earn two Diners miles for every dollar spent but they are exchanged into United and other programs at a 2:1 ratio. So, I essentially get 1 airline mile for every dollar spent.
