Pros: Convenient, but you'll pay fee after fee for it.

Cons: There are so many: high fees, low service, incompetence, ....

Watch out for the 3% transaction fee that US Bank collects on all foreign transactions. That's on top of an undocumented and unexplained exchange rate policy you get for using the VISA card, which makes it impossible to compare whether you really are getting a better exchange rate than using cash. And don't try returning an item - another 3% fee!

More fees: when I closed my account I received a summary bill with an extra $2.50 labeled "Account Management Fee". This was their last opportunity to collect a fee and had to call it something.
