Now why didn't I think of that lol? The thought never crossed my mind, probably because I did not have a computer back then. Now that I do, I pretty much pay all my bills on line.

If you use online banking (Reply to this comment)

or pay through a credit card company's website (if that feature is available) you will NEVER get a late payment fee when payments are timely. If you do, the online banking agent will go to bat for you and get it removed.
I highly recommend online banking, especially when a payee has big penalties for late payments. It's better than leaving your payments to the mercy of the post office.

Does that make me sound like a bully? I just like to know where my money goes and think that companies like that make it even more frustrating to get your credit back on track.
Plus I am a sucker for customer service, and they could certainly use some improvement.
