The Bottom Line: I would recommend this card to anyone that has credit problems and wants to restore their credit history.

I have a secured credit card account with Sterling and I want to give you my opinion on this wonderful bank. They have given me a chance with a Visa and have been very helpful whenever I needed anything. Their customer service hours are limited so that is about the only minor downfall they have other than their 39.00 Annual Fee. I got the card in less than 5 days after they received my deposit because I mailed them a 200.00 money order and checked on the optional express service box. There is a 15.00 charge to get the express service and your deposit must be in the form of a cashiers check or a money order. Also when I received the application they gave me some car rental discount cards as well as a coupon to waive their 19.00 application fee which I thought was very nice of them. Since I have had my card I went to the grocery store, ordered dinner a few times, ordered a CD and ordered a dozen roses. I also have my WebTV charged on my Sterling card. (small things because my limit is small for now) The card has worked great and every time I sent them a payment it has posted promptly. They also send me deposit tickets periodically in case I want to make a deposit to increase my limit. I enjoy this card very much and I hope that my relationship with Sterling will grow over the years so I can get my credit back on track.
