A word of advice (Reply to this comment)
by frazzledspice, in Personal Finance
I don't think that anyone should pay a $75 annual fee for a credit card with a $300 limit just to get amalgamiles.
Even if you spent $300 each month and paid it off each month, the most amalgamiles you could accumulate in a year would be 3600 (about 1/7 of what you'd need to get a free plane trip.)
Would those 3600 miles be worth the $75 fee?
Add to that the fact that miles expire in a certain number of years.
I've read some good reviews on this site about how you should balance fees paid against possible rewards with reward cards, and they offer some good advice.
