Okay you probably think I am nuts, but its the truth. Okay I will come clean the reason why Capital One is good for me is because I am a 17 year old. My dad co-signed for me so I could receive the credit card. I receive the credit and the only part he has in it is if I default. Capital one is in my opinion the best student card. The credit card has my own name on the card and the bills come addressed to me and not to my father. Some other student cards require a yearly fee of 24.00.
In addition the the yearly fee some statements come addressed to the parents and you don't want that. The biggest advantage to me is that I can view my details online and I can even pay my bill online for FREE using their website. I would recommend this card to people like me, young adults. So if your a minor and you would like to have your own credit card and your parents would want you to be responsible. Go to their website at Capitalone.com and request an application. On the downside is that there APR is 19.8% but thats okay I pay my entire bill every month on the their website and have not paid a single dime on interest using their interest free grace period.
