The Bottom Line: I will tell every person I know to boycott the Citibank's false policy and recommend to withdraw their money from the bank never respect to the customers.

I went into a Citibank branch office in Taipei and tried to pay the credit card bill in cash for my sister several days ago. The clerk told me that the counter wouldn't deal with any cash transactions anymore. She asked me to put the money into an envelop and then throw it to a kind of collecting machine. This made me very angry about the service because the whole procedure took more 5 times of normal time to deal with a human and I was not verify the completion of payment immediately. I am a Citibank customer for 7 years in Taiwan. At first, I was very impressive about its American style service, it was very different from the local banks in Taiwan. However, the local banks upgraded themselves gradually these days. Citibank Taiwan on the contrary downgraded its customer services. The top management of Citibank seems to believe in the so-called "e-business" and forgets the customer needs. The "e-business" should be an option, not the only destination for the customer. The customers will make their own choices to use the machine or human services. We the customers should have the privilege to make the judgment, not be helplessly ruled by the bank.
