Pros: finally get some credit

I have a Providian Visa, and I have not had any problems with them yet. I have had my visa for almost a year. No one else would give me credit! My credit line is only for $1000, but that is perfect for someone just starting out or maybe even lower. I can help you establish a credit history. I would recommend this card for any young responsible adult, or anyone trying to establish credit. The card is accepted just about everywhere, and you can always get your balance with the 24 customer service rep. I did not have to mail in a fee before I got my card, although, I had to send it in before I could actually use the card. The fee was only $29. I had gotten ripped off before with a scam company for $60.
