We have a somewhat troubled credit history, but applied for a Providian Bank Visa Card after seeing the commercials on TV. Much to our surprise, the commercials were true. We received a $400.00 credit limit, in about 2 minutes, I was actually stunned, and asked them if they were sure.
We made well over the minimum $20 payments the first 2 months and they raised our credit limit to $500.00. We were shocked, after another 2 months of good payment we had a financial problem, and called. They increased our limit oncemore to $700.00. We were flying high, no missed payments, good payment history, and increasing limits, what a great deal.
After 6 months of good payments, we received a letter in the mail, asking us if we wanted to increase our limit $1000.00 more. What an amazing company. It is nice to see that there is a card company out there that really does want to help the customers rebuild their credit.
Thank you Providian. I recommend them to anybody.
