Wachovia Bank cards are to be avoided at all costs especially if you want peace of mind. God help the individual who has missed a payment or two. My then wife and I had the misfortune of enduring serious financial difficulty in the mid 1990's. But instead of running to declare bankruptcy as an easy way out, we decided to bear down and pay off our debt via a credit counseling service, American Financial of Bozeman, MT. These people were excellent in helping us and dealt with our creditors in a professional manner. All our creditors cooperated fully and were being paid in a timely fashion, all except Wachovia. For some ungodly reason, despite being paid on a regular basis, these inept individuals (I use this term loosely to avoid using foul language; this is how much anguish and rage these incompetent fools have caused) somehow couldn't find any record of my payments despite many receipts from American Financial proving my case. American Financial disclosed to me that they had numerous problems dealing with Wachovia and not just with me. For a while, Wachovia had the nerve of saying they would not be dealing with American Financial despite cashing their checks! It was later discovered, after much thoroughly proving those arrogant bastards wrong, that they were indeed cashing the checks but they "didn't know who was sending them" despite the fact my name and American Financial were clearly computer printed on the checks. Of course, I never received an apology.
Then only good that came out of this was that my debt was finally paid off (I could only hope they choked on those checks).
Thank God for epinions.com for this opportunity to finally tell Wachovia
to go to Hell
for all the world to see.
