As a small time banker with a simple checking account through Citibank I was a bit apprehensive about applying for a business account. My credit had a major blemish from a mistake in my youth and my business was still in the new idea stages. Still, I really needed a business account to keep personal finances and business finances apart. So, I took my chances with Citibank.
They were wonderfully supportive. Not only did they help me establish a business account, but they encouraged me to put together a business plan and gave me ideas to help my business grow.
Customer service could be described in one word. Amazing!!! My representitive went above and beyond the call of duty to help me through all the hoops of setting up shop with citibank. He even followed up with phone calls asking if the service was satisfactory.
I will stay with Citibank for all my banking needs. They made this small time business owner feel like the president of a large corportion.
