Write off U.S. Bank! My contribution to the "ICBPOJWO write off" (A bank rant)

Pros: None, unless...nope, still none.
Cons: Actually I'd trust a "con" more than U.S. Bank

US Bank Fraud ALERT. (Reply to this comment)
by monkeygirla
I too am having many problems with US Bank. I will write a review later, but for now, we had to go to our credit union, obtain a home equity loan in order to pay off the small loan and a credit card we have left with US Bank.
They have done many horrid things since we have become customers but this last week has been the icing on the cake. They have charged us over $420 in overdraft fees, even though we have had cash in our account. When we TRIED to discuss this with them, their answer is "we changed our policies in January, too bad."
If that was the case, this would have been brought to light before now. The truth is we paid off our line of credit and second mortgage and they are punishing us for doing so.
Avoid US Bank, they are thieves!!!!

Yeah, there's nothing quite like having a large bank "lose" your information, is it? It's amazing how hard it is for an individual to fight such things. Good grief!

Thanks for taking part in the write-off. I enjoyed the submission quite a bit. Hopefully, you'll eventually have some success against that piece of junk company.

an experience similar to one I had with KeyBank
aka KeyCorp seems like the banks have very little
regard for customers and worship that all-mighty
late fee. A letter to the BBB did get a response
finally although not the one I was looking for,
I'm still considering litigation to re-coup most
of the money I have paid them.

Best,
Jenn

that isn't a story you will laugh at in a few years. With any luck Firstar won't be around that long. Of course if they keep charging bogus late fees, they will never close down.

Good luck with getting the title and Firstar/U.S. Bank behind you.

Boy, and I thought I had troubles with my Mitsubishi loan (the company that never seems to want their car back...), yours definitely takes the cake! Made for some great reading though! Sorry you had (and are still having) a rough time with the bank!
