PayPal- Take it or Leave it

Pros: Allows you to send & receive money for a small fee.
Cons: Credit card/bank account info. needed if you want to do much.
The Bottom Line: Four stars for the ease of use and all the services provided. Less one star for all the personal information needed.

PayPal has both positives and negatives. Depending on your situation, it might be the thing for you.
For positives, it allowed me to accept auction payments the same day the auction completed. There was no waiting for the buyer to send payment and I could ship the item right away. This is great for both buyer and seller.
Unfortunately, if you would like the money in your account sent via check, you will need to have a credit card or be willing to give them your bank account information. If you do not have either, you need to send a number of items including a utility bill with your address on it, a copy of your driver's license, etc., etc. On the upside, once I gave them my information, the check came in less than a week. It does say on the Paypal site that the check may take 1-2 weeks.
Paypal does charge for receiving money (the numbers here are for a Premier account, a personal account is free, I believe), but it is only 30 cents + 2 or 3% of the amount sent. This can really add up but I feel the amount is worth it for the benefits.
Paypal also has a sending limit. You can only send so much money per month. If you do a lot of sending and receiving of money this can get in the way. I believe you can go over the limit for an extra charge. On the up side, sending and receiving money is very easy.
One other possible negative is that both the sender and receiver need to have an account.
In conclusion, I would recommend Paypal. Just know before you sign up that you will need to provide your credit card information or your bank account information to do a lot of things they advertise.
