PayPlace is similar to PayPal, as both offer you the ability to send payments to others via email. This makes it nice if you enjoy online auctions because now you can accept credit card payments. They both offer bonus cash for joining and for referring other members. That is the reason I signed up. I got $10 for opening my account and $5 for each referral.

The signup process for PayPlace was easier and faster than that of PayPal. Both are easy to use, and very convenient. You have to register your credit card, but like I did with PayPal, I registered my X.com visa card. They take visa, mastercard, and american express.

I did have a problem getting referrals at first. I used the link they gave me, and nobody was signing up. I tried the link myself and it didn't work! I logged in and copied it down again and compared it to the first link I got and it was not the same. I was pretty disappointed by this because my banner statistics showed that I had over 100 clicks on this banner, and no signups!

The problem is now fixed so hopefully some of those people will come back and try it again.
