Hi All.....
I've been using DLJ Direct for around 3 yrs now as a fairly active
day trader and I'm now in the process of leaving them.
I have found their service has become increasingly slow....maybe it's
because of all the new online traders coming on board...but whtaever
the reason....it's just SLOW.
My trades are taking longer and longer to get executed....the system
goes down constantly (usually at a time when it's URGENT for you to
have access) and when you try to call their 800 customer service
number you can count on being on hold for at least 15 minutes...and
if the online system is down....it's more like a 30 minute hold.
In my opinion that is totally ridiculous...especially as fast as the
market can move at times.....even TWO minutes can be the difference between a profit and a loss....
Soooo....my suggestion is.....look around....take advantage of some of
the trial periods the online brokers give you....and then decide who
you'd like to use...
