| dewey's Full Review: AMICA - Auto |
Four years ago I was referred to AMICA by a family member who said I would save big money on my insurance without sacrificing service. I have since carried AMICA as my sole carrier in NJ, NY and most recently CA. The rates were competitive in NJ, seemed a bit high in NY and I know I can spend 50% less on alternatives in CA. Despite the price tag I have stayed with AMICA because of their reliability and option for the DIVIDEND. A dividend option policy requires a higher premium, but pays back a cash dividend at year end. My dividends have always been higher than the difference I paid in premiums and is related to the performance of the company. Dividend policies are not available in all states. AMICA insures in most states so is convenient for frequent relocators. Though bargain basement insurers abound, when you really need your insurance a company like AMICA will there for you.
