While searching for new insurance, I visited youdecide.com. I entered my information and within a couple of days, they returned quotes from a few insurance companies -- many of whom I had heard of before, but I had never heard of Amica.
Their quote was excellent. Since all of the quotes were pretty much apples-to-apples comparisons, I decided to give them a closer look. I learned that they had an extremely high rating, had a flexible payment structure (online, EFT, etc.) and they also invested part of the premium that could possibly result in a $560 return on investment once my plan year ended. I never heard of this before, but since everything else appeared to be what I was looking for, so I figured "Why not" and took the plunge. Among the quotes, the price wasn't the best, nor was it the worst. The value, however, was definitely the best and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
My experiences thus far with Amica have been simply wonderful. When I talk to them, I feel as if I'm dealing with a company that really cares about its customers -- no fluff, no facade, no dog and pony shows.
Last month, I received notice that for next year the investment deal will become an option, giving me the option of investing part of my premium or taking the lower insurance premium. How's that for choices.

I obtained that information from the Amica web site -- a treasure. The site is easy to navigate. You can view your account information, payment information (including an option to pay online), contact customer service, report a claim or read their magazine, Amica Today, online. I can get the information I want when I need it. I think that's awesome.
We also acquired our Renter's Insurance through Amica. Since this is a commentary on auto, all I'll say is AWESOME VALUE!!!!! Less than half of what another leading company quoted us!!!
How do they do it?!? I don't know, but I'm glad they do and I'm glad I found them! My thanks to youdecide.com for partnering with such a company and to Amica for being a company that works . . . for me!!!
