Poor Service options -inflexible adjusters

Pros: Geico has polite and courteous service representatives but inflexible apprasier / ajuster options.
Cons: Inflexible adjusters. Their way and their location or nothing. 8am to 11am bankers hours.
The Bottom Line: Poor / inflexible service policies to get your vehicle repaired. Beware if you have to get an appraisal.

I was hit by a Geico insured person. Geico was quick to respond but their service policy options are inflexible. I have only minor front bumper damage but they require me to show up at their service locations between the hours of 8 - 11 am Monday to Friday. I leave for work at 6:30 am and return after 6 pm. Their closest facility to work or home is a minimum of 15 miles. Do I take time off work? I unfortuately hit a deer this summer and my insurance. The sent an appraiser to my office, took pictures, provided an estimate and recommended a number of service locations with ratings.
If my car was undrivable Geico would have picked it up and taken it to their repair facility. They force feed their repair facility with the claim "just drop your car off and we will give you a loaner" Sorry I like my car and want to make sure that it is repaired properly with proper parts. I also have other vehicles to drive so I do not need a loaner. They would not do an appraisal outside of their times or outside of their repair facility locations.
It appears that the Geico appraisers work bankers hours with them scheduleing only 8am - 11am. It was not my fault I was hit by their insured... I was fortunate, it happened right in front of a police officer that was sopped for a light. Why should I drive 30 miles to get their appraisal? Why should I have to take time off of work? My employer counts on me to be there. I was very polite to the service rep since they were to me but I told them that I was not impressed with their service policies and I definitely would not consider them for insurance in the future!
