Pros: On-line rep was friendly. Finally can pay premiums with credit card instead of direct withdrawal.
Cons: Bad communication lines between claim reps, adjusters & damage reps.
The Bottom Line: Move to the next company. Cheapest price is not always the best for "insurance." If they don't pay when it counts, what is the point?

| housebisbee's Full Review: GEICO Direct |
I recently was involved in a hit and run accident and filed a claim with Geico. I have full coverage on my vehicle and they aren't paying for the damage. There was prior repaired damage in the same vicinity (prior to my owning the vehicle) and they are claiming that all the new problems I have encountered are from the previous accident 4 years ago. The adjuster even had the nerve to tell me I must not have noticed the problems until now! Four years of driving 60 miles per day and I didn't notice the huge gap between the tail light and the back gate or the water leaking into the car. I must be stupid. They don't pay when it counts...that is why it's so cheap! They send "intern" rotating adjusters to view & assess the damage of an accident and don't thoroughly inspect the car. Their opinion is a matter of fact. Logic & physics don't count. Too many people handling the claim which has lead to misunderstandings and inefficient analysis of the damage. The 3rd adjuster had a completely different story of my accident than the first 2 adjusters. I need an insurance company that will take care of me when something happens. I don't want to have to fight for them to follow through with their end of the deal!
