Well, here I go again writing about insurance groups. You might have guessed it, my same daughter who got hit last year, at almost the same time, got hit again. Again, she got lucky and it wasn't her fault. She does keep on wondering why everybody keeps hitting her car though. She drives a purple eclipse and she really loves that car. At least we have a good auto body place to take it to.

This time she was hit by two guys in a company truck. They hit her in the back, and made her bumper almost fall off, and then they side swiped her, and pushed her over onto the city curbs, so that both sides are sides are now side swiped. Lucky for us she wasn't hurt, but just cried a lot because it scared her, and her beautiful car is now a total mess. We had to wire up the bumper just to get it to the auto body shop.

Of course, the police got called and insurance cards got exchanged. Lucky for my daughter they admitted fault right off and got cited. We thought well this is going to be easy at the most maybe she would be out of her car for a week. We still have progressive whom we just love but they had nationwide.

Here is where the story really gets bad, it has already been 13 days, and nobody will return our phone calls, and nobody has come to even look at her car so that they can start fixing it. Now, do we call that good service? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
I don't know how many messages we've left, and my daughter is scared to death that they won't take care of the rent a car that she had to get. You would think that they would even call to get her statement about what happened, but no they haven't done that either. Our insurance has even tried to call and nobody will call them back. I bet that if we wanted to buy insurance from them we would get a call right off. These are the times when an insurance company really gets tested though, and boy Nationwide has flunked big time.

Again, my daughter is lucky because she works for 6 lawyers so since we can't seem to get anywhere after almost two weeks she turned it over to one of them to see if they can get someone to go look at her car so that they can start fixing it, and if they try to cause any trouble then the lawyers will take care of that. We, hated to do that but what do you do when you've been trying for two whole weeks to get a response and can't get anywhere. We also know that she will only have the rent a car covered for 30 days so we want to get her car fixed.

It's not like we're after anything else like some people would be, my daughter was fine other than a little stiffness for the first couple of days but all she wants is to have her car back to it's beautiful shape.

And, Nationwide if you happen to read this article, this is no way to treat people. What if we were shopping around for another insurance, we sure wouldn't choose you because of how you are dealing with just this one accident.

So, anybody that reads this and is looking for an insurance for your car, or cars, then you might want to check elsewhere because you might be able to get a good rate but their service in a time of need really does stink. It's kind of funny, my daughter is getting more mail from chiropractors and lawyers that want her to sue and hasn't even heard from Nationwide.
